Written by Daniel Rubin (2016)

We looked for

Eden on Earth.

And sneaked in the

Garden of Eternity.

Nobody. Empty.

Everything frozen in

Autumn sunset.

Wines, trees and grass

Wriggled for sunshine.

The rocks awakened,

Mumbling about

Dark and ancient secrets.

All this became ours,

But we didn’t know

What to do with this

Enchanted Kingdom.

The night fell,

And the Hounds of Fear,

Started wandering

Freely in the moonlight.

Escaped the horrors,

Getting home, I realised,

There is nowhere to go.

And we are no longer one.
