The legend

We’re born, live and die on no-man’s land
The game and the trend we must understand:
On God’s grace and others’ mood we depend
At all cost, our existence we must defend
The endless suffering we ought to withstand
We tend to expand the joy, without demand
We try to blend and befriend, not to offend
To be strong and stand in this wonderland
Intend to comprehend, mend and ascend
Not to bend or pretend, not to impend.
Our time here we spend and will suspend
The being itself, as we get overhand.
Don’t misunderstand, be lenient, and
See: as much as I fear it, I wait for the end.
