Most of people think, that making bread is difficult. On the contrary! It's:

- easy (a toaster oven will do fine!)

- cheaper (around half/third the price you would pay)

- healthier (no chemicals or preservatives)

- fun (you decide what to add)

Ingredients:

- 1/2 kg whole wheat flour

- 1 teaspoon yeast

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 3-4 spoons of olive oil

- warm water (as much as needed, usually 2 glasses)

Understand why:

- Whole flours are coarse and drink in lots of water

- More yeast means more airy bread

- Don't be afraid of salt, you can add more when you are preparing it

- More olive oil means more crunchy!

Mix it thoroughly and knead it well. Put in a vessel, close it with a plastic bag and leave it in some warm place. In the winter you can put it right on your radiator, in the summer you can put it in the sun. After 1-2 hours it will swell. You decide about the size of your bread, also what to add. Just a few ideas: caraway, black pepper, rosemary, dill, nuts, oatmeal.

15-20 minutes in the oven, on 250 degrees.

You can store the remaining dough endlessly in your fridge (not in the freezer), so it's accessible anytime, for making another loaf. Enjoy!
